there are so many garbage channels on TV that if they just simplified their service and let ppl buy what they wanted instead of force feeding them all the garbage no one watches, you would have huge subscriber numbers and you can downsize your costs because you aren't putting out all that expensive content.Comcast has, the US cable giant has unveiled a new Xfinity TV app for iPad and iPhone users enabling customers to view TV streams and movies on their tablet and mobile devices. so maybe the key isn't to charge more for stamps but to downsize and eliminate all the garbage that gets mailed. Imagine a postal service that doesn't mail, advertisements and all the other junk mail? Sure the post office wont be making all that revenue from all that junk mail, but guess what.
I walk to the mailbox and get my mail and by the time i get inside I have thrown away 99% of the mail i receive. stop letting everyone mail things that aren't needed.

Stamp prices increase all the time because its over loaded with mail and requires more trucks, drivers and machines to keep things going. I think of cable tv much like I think of the post office. Let me buy the channels I watch and dont sell me all the other garbage I dont want to. It seems like every few months they raise their prices once outside that special 1st year.

I wouldn't have a problem buying tv from Dish or dtv or a cable provider but they all charge 100 plus a month (after that low low price of 40 bucks a month for the first year) and make you jump thru hoops to keep your bill the same price. Normally just for watching either live tv or tv shows we missed. mostly we use Netflix, or Hulu but we also have a couple other apps that we use. I have to pay for a lot of crap that I don't care for at all, so I'm okay with paying for the sports and entertainment I enjoy, and foregoing the small portion I don't value enough to pay for. But I expect US Attorneys have 1000 other higher priorities, so it's not much of a practical concern.īottom line, though, is that I think it's only right to pay for the things I value and love. It's also a federal crime for an individual to receive stolen cable signals (as opposed to broadcast signals), so, yeah, the subscription itself is a criminal act. But you should know that you're definitely not dealing with Comcast or Disney. I'm sure many would speak up to say they've been subscribing for years without an issue, and I believe it. That's at least something to think about when handing over your credit card # - you may be saving the Russian mob the trouble of hacking to steal your identity. Just how organized and how criminal is uncertain, although just like the local bookie eventually ends up working for the mob or quitting (willingly or not), these sorts of things tend to end up in the portfolios of the serious criminal enterprises eventually. Because of the clear illegality, a business that provides a service such as this is in the business of organized crime. The service itself is a pirate service, violating both criminal laws and committing copyright infringement. But if you don't do either, you will probably be okay as well. If you do decide, protecting yourself with a VPN isn't a terrible way to go and pay with a rechargable visa "burner" gift card isn't the worst idea.
Ppl will tell you its stealing and you have no morals if you use these services. the legality is basically what you are comfortable with. They have a leg to stand on against McDonalds, but to sue the consumer, nah. That equates to going to McDonalds and consuming a hamburger from meat that Mcdonalds stole from a farmer and that farmer sues you and McDonalds. Now you can say, well they consumed our streams from this company so they should have to pay for the service that they consumed. I cant see how Dish would have a leg to stand on with those bills as I didn't sign an agreement with Dish, nor can they prove that I would have signed up with Dish had I not been with the IPTV. Recently tho, Dish has been pulling out all the stops and going after these services to have them shut down and are fighting hard to get subscriber information so they can send out 3500 dollar bills to everyone that consumed their service.
Meaning its not illegal to consume it, its illegal to sell it. The legality of these things is a grey area because in your heart of hearts you know they are pirating the stuff, but there is also no law stating that you cant use it.
I have used these types of IPTV services in the past and possibly currently.
